…more artistic musings
For 25 years my original website was used to promote CLASSICAL DECORATIVE ARTS. Consequently, here was little time to pursue artistic interests. Whether working on a commissioned project, planning a Restoration, State Procurement or attending the INTERNATIONAL SALON overseas yearly events, my concerns were always to bring projects to completion
My workshop has since been cleared of supplies that had been limited to accommodate the client and sample making. Now, the room has been converted back to an ARTIST’S ATELIER stocked with sufficient paints, brushes and canvases.
However, while in the process of reorganizing all promotional work files I have since rediscovered prominent lectures that were given during the active years of CLASSICAL DECORATIVE ARTS. Topics were varied and promoted a wide range of interests. From discussing Louis Sullivan to how to proceed filling out copyright forms and submit the paperwork. Information that is shared on the CLASSICAL Decorative Arts BLOG™.
As luck would have it I discovered quite by chance the talented and exceptional teaching ability of Liz Steel, an Australian Urban Sketcher who offers online classes. Liz has been inspiring me during this transition with her range of art classes rival the American Academy of Art that I attended for seven years.
Along with the newly rediscovered artistic activities previously mentioned, there has also been new adventures outside the studio. Now, more than ever before there is time to explore new subjects as well.
